Filet of Beef Sliders with Lemon-Horseradish Aioli and Caramelized Onions

Tender beef. Our pillowy Parker House Rolls. Bright lemon-mustard aioli and rich caramelized onions. These sliders pack so much flavor into one bite-sized sandwich—it's no wonder they’re a Game Day fan-favorite.


Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 medium sweet onions, peeled and thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup Citarella Lemon-Mustard Aioli
  • 2 tsp. grated prepared horseradish sauce
  • 6 Citarella Parker House Rolls
  • 1½ lbs. cooked filet of beef, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Prepare the onions: Heat a large skillet on medium heat. Add the olive oil and the sliced onions. Cook until golden-brown, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper and cool.
  2. Mix the lemon aioli and horseradish sauce together in a small bowl.
  3. Assemble the sliders: Cut the rolls down the center, creating a top and bottom. Place 1/6 of the meat on each of the roll bottoms. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Top with the onions and the aioli. Cover with roll tops and serve.
