Braised Pork Sliders with Japanese Barbecue Sauce
SERVINGS: 4 servings
PREP TIME: 5 minutes
TOTAL TIME: 20 minutes
COURSE: Main

Rich, tender braised pork is a delicious match for Japanese barbecue sauce – at once sweet and packed with deep umami flavor. And when sandwiched on a pillowy, freshly baked Parker House Roll? Heaven. If you’d like a little extra crunch (and a pop of color!) tuck some sliced Persian cucumber and carrot into each slider. These are definitely a crowd-pleaser, perfect for game day, parties, and more.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of braised pork shoulder, shredded (Use this Aromatic Citrus-Braised Pork recipe, or your favorite braised or pulled pork recipe)
- 1.5 cups Bachan’s Original Japanese Barbecue Sauce
- 4 Citarella Parker House Rolls
- Optional: Sliced Persian cucumber and carrot
Instructions
- Gently warm the pork in a medium saucepan with the barbecue sauce over low heat.
- Cut the rolls and assemble the sliders, dividing the meat between the 4 rolls. Top with sliced vegetables if desired and serve.
