We proudly offer you an expert, courteous Personal Shopping experience. We’ll hand-select your gourmet grocery items and pack them with tender, loving care. Then, we’ll hold your order for in-store pick-up, at the Citarella location of your choice. You can also choose to have your order delivered to your home or office — our fleet of private delivery vehicles and dedicated delivery team will get your order to you in pristine condition.

We’re dedicated to giving you the same great service that you receive when shopping in our stores. To place an order for local delivery or in-store pick-up, call us at 212-874-0383 in Manhattan, 631-283-6600 in the Hamptons, or 203-861-6900 in Greenwich, CT.

For seafood-only orders, you have the additional option to shop online at www.citarella.com; simply select the local delivery or in-store pick-up option at checkout.

PHONE ORDERS & ONLINE SEAFOOD ORDERS

Due to the perishable nature of our products, all orders require signature upon delivery or pick-up. Items should be unpacked and refrigerated as soon as you receive them. We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, A.P.O./F.P.O.’s, or outside of the local, NYC area.

  1. IN-STORE PICK-UP

Customers may call to place their order, and pick up from their selected Citarella locations during our normal store hours.

For online seafood orders, customers can select from the list of available service windows:

  • Monday - Saturday from 8 AM to 12 PM, 12 PM to 4 PM, 4 PM to 10 PM (EST)
  • Sunday from - 8AM to 12 PM, 12 PM to 4 PM (EST)

Because our products are fresh and hand-prepared just for you, there is a 50% cancellation fee for orders that are not retrieved. Please keep this in mind when choosing your desired pick-up Store Location and Time at CHECKOUT.

  1. LOCAL DELIVERY

Delivery to your home or office is available throughout New York City. Minimum purchase for delivery is $25.00.  Customers may call and speak with one of our customer service agents.

For online seafood orders, customers may select from the available Delivery windows:

    • Monday - Saturday from 8 AM to 12 PM, 12 PM to 4 PM, 4 PM to 10 PM (EST).
    • Sunday - 8 AM to 12 PM, 12 PM to 4 PM (EST).

Processing and fulfillment:

We need One day lead time from receipt of your order to process and fulfill it. You may place an order anytime, up to one week before your desired delivery date.

    • If an order is received by 4 PM, the earliest available delivery date will be the next day, and it will be processed for the service window you select.
    • If an order is received after 4 PM, it will be considered part of the next day’s orders and the earliest available delivery date will be 2 days later.
    • If you need an order for the same day, you can call 212-874-0383 and speak with one of our customer service agents.

Please be sure that someone is available to receive your order when our delivery team arrives. We cannot drop the order off unless someone is there to accept it. Because our products are fresh and hand-prepared just for you, there is a 50% cancellation fee for orders that cannot be delivered. Please keep this in mind when choosing your desired Location and Time at CHECKOUT.

LOCAL DELIVERIES IN NEW YORK CITY

At times inclement weather or unforeseen delivery complications may arise. At that time it may be necessary to make adjustments to the delivery schedule. If we are forced to suspend a chosen delivery date and time or the delivery address is inaccessible, we will contact you to reschedule or change delivery destination.

RETURNS

We want to make sure that our customers receive the freshest and highest quality foods. If you are at all dissatisfied with your order, please contact us as soon as possible at help@citarella.com. Please hold on to your order and don’t discard any items until we’ve contacted you. It would be very helpful if you would take photos of packaging and product so that we may better serve you.

DELAYS / SUBSTITUTIONS
If we are temporarily out of stock on a particular item, we will substitute a similar product of equal or greater value to meet your requested delivery date. In compliance with the terms of our Privacy Policy, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to contact you by e-mail or phone if there are any backorders or problems with your order, so please make sure to provide us with accurate contact information.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Except with respect to payment obligations, Citarella will not be liable for, or will not be considered to be in breach of this Agreement on account of, any delay or failure to perform as required by this Agreement as a result of any causes or conditions that are beyond our reasonable control and that we are unable to overcome through the exercise of commercially reasonable diligence. If any force majeure event occurs (which shall include, without limitation, acts of God, telecommunications,
 Internet or network failure, results of vandalism or computer hacking, fire, explosion, storm or other natural occurrences, any conflicting order, direction, action or request of the United States government (including, without limitation, state and local governments) or of any regulatory department, agency, commission, court, bureau, corporation or other instrumentality, or of any civil of military authority, national emergencies, insurrections, riots, wars, strikes, lockouts, work stoppages or other such labor difficulties), we will use commercially reasonable efforts to minimize the impact of such event. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Citarella’s obligations to one another shall be excused and/or postponed during and only for the duration of the applicable force majeure event and shall resume as soon as practicable after the force majeure event has ended. Citarella is not liable for loss, damage, or delay caused by events we cannot control, including acts of God, perils of the air, weather conditions, or if there is no one available to accept the package. If the package that you are shipping is perishable, please make sure that the recipient will be home to receive it.
The contents of the Websites are protected by copyright and trademark laws and are the property of Citarella.The law of the State of New York applies to all transactions originating from the Websites. The customer agrees that in the event any action that arises out of or relates to the transaction of business through this site will be filed only in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York. And the customer hereby submits to the exclusive personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purpose of litigating such action.
