PRODUCTION/COMMISSARY PREP COOK
(Hunts Point, BX)
The primary responsibility
is to prep the food for the
cook. This includes
washing, peeling, and
slicing vegetables and other
items prepared in the
kitchen.
Tasks/Responsibilities:
-
Slice, peel and prepare
food items for the cook
-
Washes work table and
cutting block to ensure
food is sanitize
-
Separate recyclables
from garbage
-
Pack up order for store
delivery
-
Report to work at the
scheduled time, neatly
groomed and in the
correct uniform.
-
In addition, other
duties maybe required as
directed by your
manager.
Candidates must be able to
read, write, and speak
English with proficiency.
Bi-lingual English/Spanish
preferred. We are seeking
candidates that have high
volume food prep production
experience in a production/
warehouse environment
preferably for high end
gourmet stores. The position
is located in the South
Bronx. This is a full-time
hourly position in a 24 hour
operation therefore
full-time associates must be
available to work any and
all shifts. Weekends,
overnights (10pm-7am), and
holidays are required.
