Pastry Finish – Night Shift

of products that New Yorkers
have consistently enjoyed.
Responsibilities:
-
Take on constant and
regular production while
maintaining an efficient
and profitable food cost
percentage.

Plans and prepares
non-baked goods and
finish, decorating,
plating and cutting
baked goods as required
to fulfill assigned work
duties.
-
Demonstrate enthusiasm,
teamwork, and
dependability making all
fillings, frostings,
tarts, pies, strudels,
gourmet pastries, and
all items produced in
the pastry department.
Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities:
-
Possess an understanding
of every facet of the
gourmet pastry
department.
-
Demonstrated experience
(1-3 years) and ability
to make pastry and
product identification.
-
Acquired the ability to
read and follow
instructions from the
executive chef.
-
Recognized the ability
to work with individuals
and teams of diverse
backgrounds as a member
of a team.
-
Demonstrated flexibility
to adapt to change.
This position is part of a
high-volume Pastry
production team. Some
holidays, weekend and
overtime work will be
required. We offer
