FISH CUTTER (MEAT WITHOUT FEET)

• Prepare fish and seafood for general purchase by cutting, cleaning, filleting, and trimming down fish and seafood

• Must be fast and very good at even portions and fillets.

• Candidates must also possess knife skills and understand proper butchering techniques for seafood.

• Maintain clean and organized work station, back room, storage and surrounding areas.

• Following all guidelines and procedures as outline in the health and safety policy manual and as set by the Fish Department Manager

Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English with proficiency. This is a full-time position located in the South Bronx at the New Fulton Fish Market, Monday through Saturday with a start time of 4am.  Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
