FISH COUNTER ASSOCIATE (Various Store Locations in NYC)

• Must be customer service oriented and have previous fish and/or seafood counter experience

• Candidates will serve and assist customers at the counter explaining the products flavor, taste, and how they are prepared from personal knowledge and training.  

• Maintain clean and organized work station, back room, storage and surrounding areas.

• Following all guidelines and procedures as outline in the health and safety policy manual and as set by the Fish Department Manager and Sales Manager  

• Handle customer service issues and often make recommendations for which fish or seafood products to purchase at the counter.

• Place seafood in display counter so they will appear attractive and catch the shopper’s eye.

Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English with proficiency. We are seeking candidates with exceptional customer skills and previous fish counter experience. Weekends and holidays are required. This is a full-time hourly position at our store locations; we are open to the public 7am-11pm however store associates open to set-up at 5:00am and close at approximately 11:30pm.  Full-time associates must be available to work any and all shifts in-between those hours.
