Citarella has built an impeccable reputation on offering exceptional gourmet food products coupled with a knowledgeable staff delivering superior customer service.  As a “Demo Chef”, you will be responsible for the tasting campaign in one of our stores and be required to adhere to these standards of excellence.

If you have a passion and a genuine appreciation for gourmet food, cooking, and like to communicate with people in a friendly manner, this is the job for you!

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Conveying a positive attitude and ability to communicate to our customers.

• Initiating a one-on-one personal interaction with our customers whereby you invite them to taste and compare a variety of products.

• Encourage customers to purchase these products while shopping.

• Creating and stimulating brand awareness.

• Educating customers on product use, expose them to a wider variety of brands and products types and promote cross merchandizing.

• Keeping all work areas clean, neat and presentable.

• Simply…generate sales!
