Responsibilities:
-
Under the Chef
supervision, performs
work of
moderate-difficulty in
regards to the
preparation of foods on
a large scale
commercial-type basis.
Work is performed
according to specific
policies and procedures
-
Operates with the kitchen equipment as assigned.
-
Weighs and measures
ingredients, properly
using recipes in order
to produce a standard
product.
-
Maintain clean and
organized work station,
and surrounding areas.
Follow all guidelines
and procedures as
outlined in the health
and safety policy
manual.
Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities:
-
Vast knowledge of food preparation and cooking methods on a large-scale
basis.

Posses the understanding of the materials and equipment used in large scale cooking operations.
-
Ability to follow oral instructions, working independently while performing major repairs and
overhauls.
-
Have great sense of
organization and work well under high volume/pressure situations.
-
Flexible time a plus and be able to adapt to new situations immediately.
