Cheese Counter Person

of products that New Yorkers
have consistently enjoyed.
Responsibilities:
-
Provide excellent
Customer Service.

Organize, stock, and
rotate cheese display
according to the
department Manager’s
directions.
-
Constant check of the
entire display to ensure
the proper presentation,
in terms of quality,
condition and freshness
of cheeses.
-
Maintain cleanliness and
organization of work
station, back room,
storage and surrounding
areas.
-
Follow all guidelines
and procedures as
outlined in the health
and safety policy manual
and as set by the Cheese
Department Manager and
Store Manager.
Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities:
-
Customer service
expertise - Serve and
assist customers at the
counter, offering and
explaining an enjoyable
cheese tasting
experience.

General knowledge of
cheese products (texture
and unique cheese
characteristics such as
pasteurization)
-
Must be familiar with
the gourmet food
products.
This person must be able to
communicate with all our
customers and be willing to
continue to learn and grow
as a person within the
Company.
