PORTER (MEAT WITHOUT FEET)

Perform maintenance procedure including cleanliness and appearance at the Meat Without Feet (MWF).

Minimum Requirements:

• Hard work ethic

• Self-motivated

• Attention to detail

• Desire to learn

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and appearance at the warehouse

• Cleans general areas of the warehouse

• Empties garbage bins

• In addition, other duties maybe required as directed by your manager.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time and possible in extreme cold conditions

• Kneeling, stooping, using stairs, able to lift loads of up to 50 lbs. 

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

• Ability to read and write the English language, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.

The position is located in the South Bronx. This is a full-time hourly position in a 24 hour operation therefore full-time associates must be available to work any and all shifts. Weekends, holidays, and overtime work will be required.  

Candidates must be able to read, write, and speak English with proficiency. This is a full-time position located in the South Bronx at the New Fulton Fish Market, Monday through Saturday with a start time of 4am. Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
