PICKER/PACKER (Hunts Point - BX)

Basic Job Function:
Responsible for picking the grocery orders received at the warehouse and packing them on the bins to be delivered to the stores.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift, pack and load up to 80 lbs.

• Attention to detail

• Organizational skills

• Time Management skills

Tasks/Responsibilities:

• Receive orders through Accellos

• Pick orders

• Pack items on bins (racks)

• Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in the correct uniform.

• In addition, other duties maybe required as directed by your manager.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time and possibly in extreme cold conditions

• Lifting loads of up to 80 lbs

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

• Ability to read and write the English language, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.

The position is located in the South Bronx. This is a full-time hourly position in a 24 hour operation therefore full-time associates must be available to work any and all shift. Weekends, overnights, holidays, and overtime required.
