PASTRY PREP COOK (Hunts
Point - BX)
Basic Job Function:
Responsible for all pastry
production including
preparation and packaging
Minimum Requirements:

Ability to follow

Organize/attention to
detail

Follow sanitary
guidelines
Tasks/Responsibilities:
-
Preparation of all
tarts, cakes, bread and
pre-pak orders
-
Bake pies, frost
cakes/cupcakes and make
dough
-
Make filling, cream and
cut/peel
fruits/vegetables for
tarts/cakes
-
Wrap and date product
-
Assemble orders and
special requests
-
Inventory product and
ensure fresh food
rotation
-
Report to work at the
scheduled time, neatly
groomed and in the
correct uniform.
-
In addition, other
duties maybe required as
directed by your
manager.
Additional Requirements:
-
Ability to perform
physical requirements of
position including
standing for extended
periods of time
-
Lifting loads of up to
50 lbs
-
Ability to work a
flexible schedule
including mornings,
evenings, nights,
weekends and holidays
-
Ability to read, write
and communicate using
English language
sufficient to perform
job functions, conduct
business related
mathematics and analyze
data as required.
This full-time hourly
position is part of a
high-volume Pastry
production team located in
our 24 hour facility in the
Hunts Point section of the
Bronx. Full-time associates
must be available to work
any and all shifts.
Holidays, weekends,
overnight, and overtime work
will be required.
