PACKING CLERK (Hunts
Point - BX)
Responsible for the packing
of dry and/or wet
merchandise in preparation
for delivery to all stores
Minimum Requirements:
Tasks/Responsibilities:
-
Pack the products in the
proper table,
temperatures and/or
environment
-
Ensure the product is
quality before packing
-
Inspect all dates,
labels and quantity of
all products
-
Rotate and date all
products that are
returned to the
warehouse
-
Label merchandise with
proper signage before
shipping to stores
-
Report to work at the
scheduled time, neatly
groomed and in the
correct uniform.
-
In addition, other
duties maybe required as
directed by your
manager.
Additional Requirements:
-
Ability to perform
physical requirements of
position including
standing for extended
periods of time and
possibly in extreme cold
conditions
-
Lifting loads of up to
50 lbs
-
Ability to work a
flexible schedule
including nights,
weekends and holidays
-
Ability to read and
write the English
language, conduct
business related
mathematics and analyze
data as required.
This position is located in
the South Bronx. This is a
full-time hourly position in
a 24 hour operation
therefore
full-time associates must be
available to work any all
shifts. Holidays, weekends
and overtime work will be
required.
